Pilrig Children’s Nursery has an open-door policy and parents are welcome in the nursery at any time.

 

We keep parents informed through frequent newsletters and information notice boards, and we seek parents’ views through our Families Forum meetings and our biannual questionnaires. Parent Evenings are held twice each year, giving parents the opportunity to discuss their child’s learning and development with their child’s key worker.

 

Every child has a personal e-Learning Journal which provides a record of their progress through nursery, including photographs & comments about each individual child. Parents have their own personal login access code, allowing them to view their child’s journal and also to input content as they wish.

 

Nursery staff provide a verbal handover to parents at the end of each day, giving parents the chance to speak with their child’s keyworker, to learn all about their child’s day.
